The old, beautiful Hofalm can be reached from Hohenaschau in one hour's walk in two different ways: The first, which we feel to be by far the more attractive one, should however be avoided after heavy rainfall. The second ascent is steep and leads to the hut through the forest via Heurafflerweg. The thing to do is to combine the two routes and walk in a circuit. Please ask about opening hours by phone.
