It might be a bit of a climb to the Liftstube on the first floor but the unspoilt view of the cable cars ascending the Kampenwand mountain through the large window facing the garden is well worth it. Situated in the oldest section of the house, the open natural stone walls and “creeky” floorboards in the Liftstube pay testimony to its history. The bedroom is framed by old brick and clay walls, which extend up to the half-open bathroom. If there are too many overnight guests for the large bed, a second bed can be quickly set up on the sofa in the separate living room with kitchen.
