The name Bergfried (Donjon) was not given without reason. Not only is the apartment situated in the upper story of our house, it also climbs to a considerable height. Living and sleeping extend over two stories, with the additional advantage that you have a perfect vantage point of Hohenaschau castle not only from the bed but also from the dining corner. Downstairs you can cook, eat or simply relax on the cosy couch. The bathroom and toilet are under the gallery. A modern steel staircase takes you directly upstairs under the beams to sleep.
